SCOOPUSA.COM FEATURES HAWAII COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE & BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES TO HUNGRY JAPAN MARKET
|(Honolulu, Hawaii. JUNE 17, 2019) — Mr. Frank Clark, Entrepreneur, Founder/CEO of Real Select International and Waikiki Yokocho, announces his latest venture featuring Hawaii commercial real estate and business opportunities to Japan via an online portal called, ScoopUSA.com.|
The new online platform provides the Hawaii commercial real estate and business community with widespread exposure to the Japanese corporate market, which is poised to set records for US business expansion investment in 2019.
According to a recent Bloomberg study, Japanese businesses faced with a shrinking population and stagnant economy, have been increasingly looking oversees for growth opportunities. It is estimated that Japanese corporations will invest more than $500 Billion in the United States this year, an increase of 4% on 2018. Japanese banks are encouraging this growth by providing low interest funds earmarked for foreign investment and secured by foreign assets. This initiative has now positioned Japanese banks as the global leader for overseas investment and loans.
These trends were also aligned with a commissioned Colliers International report which states that over $400 Million of Hawaii commercial property was purchased by 19 Japanese businesses since 2014.
Clark explained, “During frequent business trips to Japan over the years, and while creating Waikiki Yokocho, I often heard from my Japanese clients how challenging it was to view a good selection of commercial real estate or business investment opportunities in Hawaii.” He added, “Similarly, associates with assets and opportunities in Hawaii would ask how they could find suitable Japanese clients for their projects. After considerable research, I found nothing existed which specifically catered to the needs of either party, so after years of development, ScoopUSA was born.”
The new platform connects Hawaii commercial real estate brokers and landlords directly with qualified Japanese leads and invites participation with an introductory offer of no listing or registration fee.
Leading Hawaii property developer, BJ Kobayashi said, “Frank’s extensive Japanese knowledge and network has contributed significantly to a number of our developments and his reputation will attract the right people to ScoopUSA.”
ScoopUSA will officially launch at a sold-out inaugural business event in Tokyo on July 7 with a comprehensive publicity campaign by leading marketing agency Dentsu Japan to follow.
Clark said, “Hawaii’s climate and lifestyle has always been attractive to Japanese residential property buyers and now ScoopUSA is the perfect complement to connect them with business/visa opportunities.” He added, “There was $153 Million of Hawaii commercial real estate purchased by Japanese corporations in 2018, and I believe the current economic dynamics are very favorable for sustained activity.”
